Who was the dark stranger who passed by Marin and Lettie every day? Was there a way they could lure him inside-and what would they do with him if they could? When they succeed, they find that Jake is not a man who rubs women the wrong way. In fact, he provides their Sexual Knead.

"There he is again." Lettie peeked through the blinds at the well-built man carrying a black case and striding down the street. His muscled legs filled tight slacks, topped off by a polo shirt hugging his wide chest. Black hair touched his neck, giving him a roguish appearance. He exuded sex and Lettie picked up on his aura immediately. "What do you think he’s selling?" She didn’t bother waiting for an answer. "I’d sure love to find out."
"I haven’t the slightest idea; maybe it’s sexual in nature." Marin’s laugh rang out, "Put your tongue back in your mouth, Lettie, he’s passing us up-as usual. The third time this month without a glance in our direction. I’m wondering if Suzie the cat said something to him about us; the sneaky bitch."
"Possible." Lettie had to laugh when Marin called their neighbor a cat and bitch. But she had the description down pat. Every time Suzie saw a man, you could almost hear her purring, and her long, red fingernails looked like claws ready to strike as they gripped her unsuspecting prey.
"Maybe, we’ll get lucky today," Lettie’s soft giggle filled the living room. She kept watching the stranger until he disappeared into Suzie’s house.
"By lucky, you mean he’ll stop by and show us his wares," Marin remarked with a grin, joining Lettie near the window. "Now, that’s something I wouldn’t mind seeing."
"You always have your mind in the gutter. But, if he had something else to offer for free, I wouldn’t be one to refuse him." A deep heartfelt sigh followed her words, "The man is so gorgeous it gives me goose bumps."
Marin crossed her arms and gazed outside, "When you see him leaving Suzie’s house, walk out to the mailbox and get the mail. Stand near where he passes and pretend you’re looking through the letters. This will give you a way to start a conversation with him. Since we don’t have to work until six maybe you can lure him inside." Her lips curled into a wicked smile, "That should give us all day to find out what makes the man tick."
"Why did you have to mention work?" Lettie sighed, frowning. "I’ve seen enough of that place to last me a lifetime."
Marin smiled at her roomy. Since traveling from a small town in Kentucky to Los Angeles to attend college, they’d taken evening jobs to supplement their tuition. The only job they could find was waitressing at a club known for hiring women blessed with magnificent breasts. Marin and Lettie fit the club’s description and the manager hired them on the spot. Six months later, they were still attending day classes and working late at night. It was a grind, but Lettie and Marin were ambitious, and resolved to get that coveted degree. Marin brought her thoughts back to the now and glanced at Lettie, still gazing longingly out the window. "Have you decided to get a little personal with our handsome, mysterious man? If you don’t, you’ll always have questions about him."
"I think I will head out to the mailbox-for a few minutes." Lettie hurried away from the window and down the hallway to the bathroom. Standing in front of the mirror, she ran a brush through her blonde hair, gracing her shoulders. Her green eyes sparkled with excitement over the thought she would soon encounter the mysterious man she’d watched secretly from the window.
"Hurry up, Lettie, you don’t want him getting away," Marin called out. She knew the man usually stayed longer at Suzie’s house, but she wanted time to check her appearance in case Lettie found a way to use her charms and invite the hunk into their home.
"I’m coming," Lettie answered, after swiping her lips with a fiery red gloss lipstick and fluffing up her thick hair.
"I hope you don’t mean that literally," Marin chuckled as she passed Lettie in the hallway.
"There you go again with your dirty thoughts."
